Mr. Isaac Lafayette Parker, age 78, of Robinson, died this morning Friday, July 10, 1981, in Crawford Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; a son, Robert Parker of Robinson; 2 daughters, Mrs. Don (Pat) Hoagland of Robinson and Mrs. Melvin (Helen) Rich of Flat Rock; a sister, Pearl Chapman of Robinson; two brothers, Noel Parker of Indianapolis and Alton Parker of Hobbs, New Mexico; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Isaac L. Parker of Robinson will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday in the Methodist Church in Flat Rock with Brother Jerry Ford and Brother Bob Fear officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery, Flat Rock. Funeral arrangements are with the Goodwine-Bond Funeral Home in Flat Rock where friends may call during the hours 5 to 9 P.M. on Saturday and until 2:00 P.M. on Sunday when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state.
Note: His wife, Mary Ellen Branson, is a descendent of the family who Branson, MO is named after. She passed away in 1996.
