David L. Musgrave 54 died Wednesday May 2,2001 of an apparent heart attack. He was born August 25, 1946 in Robinson, Illinois and was the son of Harold Musgrave and Virginia Holt. On November 20, 1964 he married Susan McColpin at the E.U.M. Church in Oblong.
On January 1, 2001 he retired from Marathon Oil Refinery working on the Unicracker Unit. David also farmed. He enjoyed Southern Gospel Music and loved his family very much. David is survived by his wife Susan; mother Virginia Musgrave; 3 sons and daughters-in-laws Todd & Marla Musgrave, Brad & Kim Musgrave and Jason Musgrave;4 Grandchildren Kayla, Austin, Taylor and Tyler Musgrave all of Oblong; 2 brothers and sister-in-law Tim & Mary Jane Musgrave and John Musgrave; 1 sister and brother-in-law Becky & Dave Carter. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He his preceded in death by his father.
