Harold Lloyd Miller, 77, of rural Robinson, IL, died at 7:10 E. S. T. Friday, November 5, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. He was born December 23, 1926 in rural Robinson, IL, the son of John J. and Juanita Stanley Miller.

Harold was retired from Marathon Oil Company as a machinist in 1986 after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Robinson, having served as Communion Usher and Trustee. He served in the U. S. Army in Egypt and Germany following WWII.

He married Nadine Liston on February 7, 1948 and she survives. He is also survived by his two sons and daughter-in-law, Dennis E. and Ruth Miller, Woodland, CA, and Kent Miller, Robinson; 2 grandchildren, Emily Miller, Malibu, CA, and Brent Miller, Robinson; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Carolene Chapman, Robinson, Bob and Lola Chapman, Orlando, FL; his sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Homer French, Newton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his stepfather, Don Chapman; and his sister, Lois Funck.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Rev. Bill L. Wiggs, Jr. is in charge of services. Burial is in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9th. Memorials may be made to the Otterbein United Methodist Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.
