Twila Virginia McCoy 81 Oblong died Thursday October 19, 2000 at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, IL.
She was born January 26, 1919 in Jasper County, Illinois and was the daughter of Paul & Rilla (Miller) Robinson. On October 5, 1940 she married Russell D. McCoy. During WW II she was a spot welder for R. G. Leturno Machinery Company in Peoria, IL. She retired from the labeling department of Hiram Walkers in Peoria, IL.
Virginia was a lifelong member of the White Oak Church rural Oblong. She and Russell had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on October 5, 2000.
Virginia is survived by her husband; 1 Brother - Glendall Robinson; 1 Sister - Ruby Miller; Cousins Pauline Fielder, Floyd & Maxine Miller, Raymond & Janet Miller & Norman Miller; and several Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Parents; two Sisters Boneva Hope & Wanda Robinson; and 1 Nephew Paul Hope.
Burial is in Mound Cemetery rural Oblong.
