Audria J. McClenathan, 93, of Shobonier, IL, formerly of Palestine, IL, died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at her residence. She was born October 20, 1911 in Linton, IN, the daughter of Curtis Steward and Lillia Loos Steward. She worked for Chapman Produce until it closed, then was employed at Gallo's Grocery Store in Robinson, and was a member of the First Christian Church, Palestine.

She married Merle "Jack" McClenathan on December 9, 1935 and he preceded her in death on August 10, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Claud Steward; and 2 sisters, Fletta Swanner and Mildred Coulter; and her son-in-law, Ronald Clark.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Clark, Shobonier, IL; 1 granddaughter and her husband, Lucretia and Warren Schroeder, St. Peter; 2 great grandsons, Kent and Adam; and 1 great granddaughter, Erin, all of St. Peter; close family friend, Dena Wilson, Robinson; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 4, 2005 at the First Christian Church, Palestine with Rev. James Delaney III officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine and from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 4th at the church. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, Palestine or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital with envelopes available at the funeral home.
