Mildred D. "Mid" McCleave, 87, died Wednesday December 1, 2004 at the Newton Rest Haven, Newton, Illinois. Mildred was born on May 5, 1917 in Findley, Illinois and was the daughter of Elias Benjamin & Fannie Mae (Hall) Richards. On October 6, 1934 Mildred married Henry Wesley McCleave and he preceded her in death on January 7, 1984. Mildred was a homemaker and a member of the White Oak Christian Church rural . Her hobbies included cooking, taking care of her family and scrapbooking.
Mildred is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law William & Catherine McCleave and Robert L. McCleave; one daughter Judy Lynn McCleave; one son-in-law John Miller; five grandchildren Terry & Kim McCleave, Johnny & Debi Miller, Mike & Kathy Miller, Billy & Denise McCleave and Gary & Diana Miller; ten great-grandchildren Darby & Danielle Miller, Samantha & Jacob Miller, Elizabeth & Michael Miller, Megan & Marshall McCleave, Brittany McCleave and Cory Musgrave; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Mildred in death were her parents, husband, one daughter Betty I. Miller; seven brothers and four sisters.
Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery, Oblong, IL.
