Ruby C. Maus 90 Oblong, IL. died Friday February 15, 2002 at 1:31 a.m. at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, Illinois. Ruby was born in Jasper County (The Bend Area) on October 12, 1911. She was the daughter of Palmer Wilkin and Sara (Henry) Wilkin.
On November 13, 1937 she married Donald Ralph Maus who died November 11, 1995. Ruby was a Beautician for many years in Oblong and was also a Homemaker. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church - Oblong. Ruby loved to play cards and did so almost every week at the Commmunity Center. She also loved to shop and read.
Ruby is survivied by 2 sons and daughters-in-laws Jerry & Sarah Maus and Terry & Vicki Maus; 1 daughter Linda Cravens; 7 grandchildren Kevin, Brian, Mike and Dusty Maus, Terri Hill, Tom Cravens, and Erynn Stifle; 11 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-laws Inzah Wilkin and Kate Maus; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceding Ruby in death were her parents, husband, 2 brothers Otis Clem Wilkin & Dr. Clinton Wilkin and 1 sister-in-law Grace Wilkin.
