Reba Lorene Magill, 79 of Flat Rock, IL, died at the Lawrenceville Manor Nursing Center in Lawrenceville, IL, Saturday, February 14, 2004 after an extended illness. She was born June 5, 1924 in rural Flat Rock, the daughter of Everett R. Ford and Della M. Simons Ford. She was a homemaker, a secretary at the Miles Conrad Implement Co. in Palestine, a member and Sunday school teacher for 20 years at the Beauvoir United Methodist Church in Biloxi, MS, a member of the United Methodist Women, and was a Teacher's Assistant in the Biloxi school system.

She married Lyle Warren Magill on July 5, 1947 and he preceded her in death on January 24, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her son, Marcus Magill; 3 sisters, Audrey Lasher, Vera Mae Weger, and Betty Ann Ford; and her brother, Foster William Ford.

She is survived by her son Michael Alan Magill, Flat Rock and several nieces and nephews.

Private family graveside services were held Wednesday, February 18th at the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Rev. Jeff Haley was in charge of the services. Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock was in charge of arrangements.
