Rosa Inez Knapp, 101, of Palestine, IL, died at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson. She was born August 22, 1903 in West York, IL, the daughter of Lewis Reynolds and Josephine Misner Reynolds. She was a housewife and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Palestine.
She married Lester Knapp September 26, 1927 and he preceded her in death September 20, 1983. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 niece, Dorma Foreman; 3 nephews, Gerald Reynolds, Arthur Reynolds, Ray Reynolds, and her half brother, William Misner.
She is survived by 8 nieces, Velma Reimlinger, Marshall, Marilyn Smith, Marshall, Alice Moore, Florida, Ada Boutwell, Ida Turney, and Phyllis Bristol, all of Minnesota, Frances Eaton, Tawas, MI, and Mary Marvin, Chrisman; 4 nephews, Charles Rich, West Virginia, Jerry Bradberry, rural Robinson, Gary Bradberry, Rodgers, AK, and Clarence Misner, West Union.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2005 at Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine with Rev. Tom Akers officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2:00 p.m. Saturday preceding the services.
