Donna Hudson Kidwell, 77, of Robinson, IL, died at 11:17 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at Mission Hospital, Mission, TX. She was born May 13, 1926 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Clyde C. "Hickory" Frye and Marie Thomas Frye. She was a supervisor at L. S. Heath & Sons in Robinson, where she retired in 1986 after 40 years of service. She was a member of the Robinson First Baptist Church.
Donna married Kenneth R. Hudson on May 19, 1951 and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
She married Paul Kidwell on July 20, 2002 and he survives. She is also survived by 2 step daughters, and their spouses, Judy and Don Page, Chase Terrace, England, Karen and Jeff Oakes, Chandler, AZ; her step son, Steven Kidwell, Robinson; 4 step grandchildren; 1 step great grandchild; her brother and sister-in-law, Gale and Betty Frye, Robinson; 2 nephews, Steve, and Larry Frye; and a niece, Teresa Frye; her step mother, Bernice Frye, Germantown, TN; 3 sisters-in-law, Isabelle Hudson, Palestine; Mildred Farnsworth, Midland, TX, and Bonnie Hudson, Palestine.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 3rd at 10:30 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 2nd. Burial is in the Palestine Cemetery, Palestine, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation with envelopes at the funeral home.
