Doris M. Judy, 82, Oblong, Illinois passed away at 7:10 a.m. Sunday, January 27, 2008, at the Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong. She was born on August 20, 1925, in Petty Twp., Lawrence County, Ilinois. She was the daughter of Robert "Bob" Combs and Mabel Opal Redfield.
She was a graduate of Bridgeport High School - Class of 1943. She was a homemaker. Doris was a member of the Hardinville Christian Church; Hardinville PTA for many years and served as an officer in many positions. She enjoyed reading; cooking; riding her bike with her husband; and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
On January 7, 1946, she married Harold D. Judy, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl & Dale Clark and Vicki & Paul Cook; four grandchildren, Tim & Christie Clark, Kristi & Matthew Brady, Brian & Lucinda Cook and Joy & Kelvin Saunders; seven great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Jean Combs and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Dorman Combs; and one grandson, Michael Duane Clark.
Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park, Claremont, Illinois.
