Chloris Lee Ikemire, 94, Willow Hill, Illinois died Monday June 13, 2005 at Ridgeview Care Center, . He was born in Crawford County, Illinois in the Greenbrier area on September 2, 1910 and was the son of Wiley Ikemire and Lula (Johnson) Ikemire. On December 21, 1932, he married Thelma Kirts, who survives. Chloris was a livestock and grain farmer in Willow Hill and Ste. Marie Townships in Jasper County, Illinois. He was a member of Seed Chapel United Methodist Church rural Oblong, Crawford County Grange and Jasper County Farm Bureau. Chloris's hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, playing cards and traveling.

Chloris is survived by his wife Thelma; two daughters and sons-in-laws Marilyn & Grover Michl and Sandra & Dennis Wiech; three grandchildren Jeff & Cheryl Michl, Kim & Jim Barlow and Katrina & John Salzone; seven great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; one brother Noel Ikemire; as well as several nieces and nephews.

His parents and an infant sister preceded Chloris in death.

Burial will be in Oblong Cemetery.
