Audrey M. Ikemire, 83 rural Willow Hill, Illinois, died Saturday February 28, 2004 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Audrey was born near Hardinville, Illinois on January 9, 1921 and was the daughter of Clayton Michael and Minnie (Michner) Michael. She married Noel E. Ikemire on April 14, 1946 and he survives. Audrey retired in 1977 as a bookkeeper from Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Audrey was a member of Seed Chapel United Methodist Church, rural Oblong, where she also served as a pianist for several years. She graduated from Oblong Township High School Class of 1939. Audrey's hobbies included sewing and quilting.
Audrey is survived by her husband Noel; son and daughter-in-law Greg & Susan Ikemire: daughter and son-in-law Tamra & Jerry Kidwell; five grandchildren Ryan & Shelly Kidwell, Jason & Laura Kidwell, Kristi Ikemire, Kelly Ikemire and Kevin Ikemire; two great grandsons Gage & Grant Kidwell; one brother and sister-in-law Gary & Phyllis (Martin) Michael; three sisters and a son-in-law Delores McKinney, Rosalie & Robert Crampton and Betty Alexander and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents and a sister Florence (Martin) Patterson precede Audrey in death.
Burial will be in Oblong Cemetery.
