Noah Gilbert, a familiar figure in Robinson, died Monday afternoon, after a short illness of pneumonia. he was born in Coshocton, Ohio, Dec. 30, 1820. He was twice married and five children, the issue of his first marriage, survive. His second wife was Mrs. Martha A. Turner, to whom he was married about five years ago, remain to mourn his death.

Mrs. Martha M. Gilbert died at her home in this city Friday Feb 10, 1899. She was born in Lawrence county, Ind., on Aug. 3, 1832, and was therefore 66 years, 6 months and 7 days old. She was twice married, her first husband being Curtis Turner, to whom she was married June 20, 1853. her second husband was Noah Gilbert, whom she married on Jan. 27, 1894. Mr. Gilbert died Monday of last week of pneumonia, and the subject of this sketch followed him five day later. Interment occurred in the city cemetery Friday afternoon, the funeral being conducted by Eld. D. H. Clements, of West York.
