Lee D. Fulling, 65, of Palestine, IL, passed into Heaven to join his wife, Patricia, on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. He was born March 22, 1939 in Palestine, IL, the son of Byrl and Dorothy Nigh Fulling. He served in the U. S. Marines from 1956-1958, farmed near Palestine for 20 years, worked as a Postal Clerk in Palestine and Vincennes, IN, and was a member of the Palestine Lions Club, El Monte, CA Kiwanis, Robinson Elks Lodge #1188, Grant-in-Aid Fund, and the Palestine Presbyterian Church. In addition, he served on the Crawford Memorial Hospital Board for 17 years, on the Board of Directors of the Farmers State Bank, Palestine, and presently served on the Palestine Village Board.

He and Patricia Kennedy were wed on June 20, 1959 and she preceded him to eternity on August 22, 1987. He was also preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Fulling.

He is survived by 4 sons and daughters-in-law, David and Glenda Fulling, Robinson, Robert and Tracy Fulling, Indianapolis, IN, Stephen and Cindy Fulling, Palestine, Michael and Celinda Fulling, Evansville, IN; 11 grandchildren; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Max and Joan Fulling, Palestine, George and Linda Fulling, rural Palestine, Bob and Karen Fulling, Rantoul, IL; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Keith Shaw, Sullivan, IL; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Fulling Coulter and her husband, John Coulter, Palestine.

Graveside services will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the Palestine Cemetery with Rev. Ron Pfeifer officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Palestine AmVets Post #33, Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, and Robinson American Legion Post #69. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
