Mildred C. Hudson Farnsworth of Odessa, TX, formerly of Palestine, IL and LaLuz, NM, died Wednesday, April 07, 2004 at the Hospice Home in Odessa. She was born February 12, 1924 in Palestine, the daughter of William Hudson and Alta Criss Hudson. She was employed in production at the Knapp Shoe Co. in Brockton, MA, and was a member of the Palestine First Christian Church.
She married Elmer Farnsworth July 8, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 2001. She was also preceded by her parents, and 3 brothers, Bert Hudson, Kenneth Hudson, and Keith Hudson.
Mildred is survived by her son, Bill Farnsworth, El Paso, TX; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Brian Cyr, Alamogordo, NM, Susan and Floyd Stringer, Alamogordo, NM, an Karen and Butch Munguia, Odessa, TX; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 3 sisters-in-law, Shirley Matthews, East Bridgewater, MA, Isabell Hudson, Palestine, Bonnie Hudson, Palestine; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Monday, April 12th at 1:00 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine. Rev. James Delaney III is in charge of services. Burial is in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday.
