Alice Marie East, 73 of rural Robinson, IL, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2004 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born December 10, 1930 in Robinson, the daughter of Benjamin Folck and Lucy Ann Duncan Folck. She was a homemaker and a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Robinson.
Alice married Wayne Lee East on October 20, 1950 and he preceded her in death on July 18, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Betty Jane Williamson.
She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Beverly East, rural Robinson, Janet and Tom Huss, Hutsonville; her grandson, Tyler Huss, Hutsonville; 2 sisters and brother-in-law, Anna Beck, Newburgh, IN, Dorothy and Alfred Adams, Indianapolis, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 16th at 10:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Rev. Bill L. Wiggs, Jr. is in charge of services. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, February 15th. Memorials may be made to the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Robinson.
