Iola Jean Cox, 72, Oblong, died Thursday September 14, 2000 at 12:45 A.M. at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL. She was born on April 28, 1928 in Chinook, Montana. Jean was the Daughter of Ira & Grace Sparks Dennis.
In 1946 she married Edward E. "Tuny" Cox. He died in 1998. She retired in 1990 from Victor Dana in Robinson, IL. Where she worked in the Parts Department. Jean was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Oblong, IL. Jean is survived by a Son Michael Eugene Cox; Two Granddaughters, Theresa Michele Cox and Karrie Renee Cox; Two Sisters, Adelyne Claybaugh and Mary Hirter; Several Nieces & Nephews; and two very special loved ones, Venita Smith and Dorothy, Mike & Avery Rigg.
She was preceded in death by Her Parents; Two Brothers (Fremont & Bill Dennis); and a fiance Edward Harris.
Burial in Olbong Cemetery, Oblong, IL.
