Mary E. Correll, 76, of rural Robinson, IL, died at 12:15 p.m., Monday, March 29, 2004 at Memorial Hospital, Springfield, IL. She was a homemaker, a member of Lincoln Trail Audubon Society, the James Halstead Chapter of the D. A. R., the Homemakers Extension, and a member of the Grand Prairie Church.

She was born February 7, 1928 in Hutsonville, IL, the daughter of Ray and Clara Holmes Williamson. She married Claude H. Correll on June 1, 1947 and he survives. She is survived by 5 children and their spouses, Sara Lee and Steve Mittlestaedt, Minnetonka, MN, Susan Elizabeth and Steve Hardwick, Newton, IL, Don Scott and Kathy Correll, rural Robinson, Claude Steven and Jayne Correll, Chillicothe, Barbara Sharlene and Mark Butler, Rochester, IL; 12 grandchildren, Haley Mittelstaedt, Kent Mittelstaedt, Brian Hardwick and his wife, Jen, Kelly Hardwick, Karrie Hardwick, Jeremy Correll, George Correll, John Correll, Kyle Correll, Diana Correll, Pierce Butler, and Logan Butler; 2 step grandchildren, Ryan Mattern and Jennifer Mattern; and her great granddaughter, Kayleh Correll. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Fegan, Sacramento, CA; her brother and sister-in-law, Marion and Bernetta Williamson, rural Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Frances Meadows; and her brother, Glenn Williamson.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 2, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. Jack Kilburn is in charge of services. Burial is in the Newlin Cemetery, rural Robinson. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 1st at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lincoln Trail Chapter of the Audubon Society, the Robinson Township Library, or to the Grand Prairie Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.
