Patricia Monroe Conrad, 51, of Robinson, IL, died at 6:29 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2003 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. She was born December 23, 1951 in Charleston, IL, the daughter of Pearl Matheney and Mildred M. Lowe Matheney. She was a homemaker.
She married Larry Conrad September 9, 1995 and he survives. She is also survived by her father, Pearl Matheney, Annapolis; her adopted parents, Dean and Catherine Myers, rural Flat Rock; her step son, Alfred Monroe, Newton; 3 step daughters, Angela, Dawn, and Stacey Conrad, Shelbyville; 3 step grandchildren, Jason, Josh, and Amber Monroe, Newton; 2 brothers, Donald Matheney, Flat Rock, Gary Matheney, Hardinville; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Verna and Jim Patterson, Oblong, Linda Myers, Flat Rock; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Linda Conrad, Hayesville, NC; special friends, Margaret and Charlie White, Oblong; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She married James Monroe on June 12, 1976 and he preceded her in death on April 18, 1993. Her mother; 2 brothers, Danny Joe Myers and Eddie Matheney; and an infant sister also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Pastor Charles Rains officiating. Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, October 1st preceding the service.
