Donna Jeanne Carter, 65 of Dugger, IN, formerly of Crawford County, IL, died at Terre Haute Regional Hospital at 9:25 a.m. (e.s.t.) Saturday, January 13, 2007 after an extended illness. She was born June 1, 1941 in St. Elmo, IL, the daughter of Floyd Earl Holloway and Mildred O. Noblet Holloway.
Donna worked in the Medical Records Department at Good Samaritan Hospital; was a member of Pearl Chapel Church, rural Robinson; and was affiliated with the Whosoever Will Church in Dugger. S
he married Claude "Bill" Carter on May 4, 1973 and he survives. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Hope and Joe Dennis, Robinson; her grandson, Jarad Flewellen, Dugger; 2 great granddaughters, Jacie and Demi Flewellen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sons, Demmy Flewellen, Eddy Joe Flewellen, and Jason Carter.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 18th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Rev. Dan Dyer is in charge of services. Burial is in the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and until service time Thursday.
