Fay (Bennett) Tracy Bush, 95, died Wednesday May 12, 2004 at Ridgeview Care Center in . Fay was born near Martinsville, Illinois in Clark County on October 30, 1908 and was the daughter of Clark Bennett and Minnie Cox. On July 3, 1926, she married Russell Tracy, who died June 19, 1946. Fay worked at Ettlebrick Shoe Factory for over 25 years until she retired at age 65. Fay was a member of White Oak Church of God in Casey, Illinois where she attended faithfully as long as her health allowed. Both of her parents died when she was just a baby and she was raised by her paternal grandparents Lorenzo and Ella Bennett, who she called "Mom & Dad." Fay's hobby was quilting.

Fay is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Bob Tracy Sr. and his wife Joann, four daughters and sons-in-laws Virginia & Steve Earlewine, Reba Stephens, Leah & Earl Baker and Donna & Marion Miller, 16 grandchildren Sandra Goodwin, Charlie and David Earlewine, Larry, Jerry, John, Rick & Jeff Stephens, Bobby Trach Jr, Lori Slatter, Lisa Inboden, Mike & Greg Baker, Kathy Richey, Ronnie Miller and Pam Weaver, 38 great grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren, 4 step great- great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-grandchild, several nieces & nephews, brother-in-law & sister-in-law Kenneth & Eldviva Tracy, two sisters-in-laws Letha Trach and Lorraine Bush, and a special friend Sabrina Hand. Fay will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her parents, grandparents, husband, one son Clarence Wayne Tracy, one sister May Wells and two sons-in-laws Vance Owens and Major Stephens preceded her in death.

Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, rural Crawford County, Illinois.
