Henrietta A. Burgund 80 of Washington, Illinois formerly of Robinson, Illinois died Tuesday June 26, 2001 at 3:55 p.m. in Washington Christian Village Washington, Illinois. She was born November 2, 1920 in Hunt, Illinois. She was the daughter of Vonnie Ragon and Inez (Alexander) Ragon. In 1943 she married Raymond Burgund in St. Louis, Missouri. He died January 16, 1964. Henrietta worked at Caterpillar during WWII and later worked at Robinson Electronics in Robinson until she retired. After retirement, she was a private caregiver in the Robinson area. Henrietta was a Foster Mother for the State of Illinois from 1955 until 1994.
Henrietta is survived by a son James Burgund; 3 daughters and sons-in-laws Deanna & Ronald Callahan, Patricia Hallford and Cathy & Estell Keyes; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild 1 brother and sister-in-law Bobby &Joann Ragon; 2 sisters and brother-in-law Iola Mae & Whitney Nanneman and Lois Humphrey; She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 infant son Michael Ray Burgund, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Burial will be in Oblong Cemetery.
