Galora Jean Bailey, 73, of rural Robinson, IL, died at 6:37 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. She was born February 9, 1932 in Crawford County, IL, the daughter of Kenneth D. Rush and Olive Marie Rich Rush. She retired from the office at Victor-Dana in January 1987 after 19 ½ years of service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Robinson and the Kathryn Chapter Order of Eastern Star #637.

She married Don A. Bailey on August 9,1950 and he survives. She is also survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie Bill and Joanie Bailey, Porterville, Doug and Diane Bailey, Robinson; her daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Lawrence Colliflower, rural Hutsonville; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Bailey, rural Robinson; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and John Crane, Independence, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David "Boots" Bailey on September 9, 1998 and her grandson, Dusty Bailey on March 2, 1999.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Robinson First United Methodist Church with Rev. Max Borah officiating. Burial will be in the Tohill Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, September 9th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church preceding the services. Memorials may be made to the Robinson First United Methodist Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.
