Chandlerville; is a native of Sangamon County, Ill. He was born June 16, 1828. The early life of John A. was spent in receiving such an education as the common schools of Cass County afforded in his day. He remained with his parents until he was twenty-one years old, and then began work for himself by farming on his own account. In Cass County, on Dec. 19, 1850, he married Miss Eliza Hickey, who bore him the following children: Matilda, Charles, Martha, James, and Frank. His wife was born in Case County, on Nov. 28, 1834, and died June 25, 1868. In 1869, he was married to Cynthia E. Williams. Of this union three children are now living, viz.: Ida, Claude E., and Harry, Mrs. Linn is a member of the Baptist Church. Mr. Linn is the owner of 524 acres of well improved land, and is an honest, upright citizen. Linn Hickey Williams = Sangamon-IL
