Charles Wardall

At this election (1862 election for Sheriff), Charles Wardall was the choice of the legal voters of the county, to fill the unexpired term. A more genial, whole-souled man it were hard to find in a long journey. He has a reputation second to none for "spinning yarns" of the "by-gone days." One of the sterling men that have helped to develope so well these wildernesses.
