L. B. Turnure

L. B. Turnure was appointed by the board of supervisors to fill the position until the vacancy (for sheriff) could be filled. Mr. Turnure, came to the county in an early day and was identified with the first settlement at Bristol. He subsequently entered the army, during the Rebellion, and at its close returned to his former home in the east.
