Ole Thorson came to Worth from Dane Co., Wis., in 1871. He was born in Illinois in 1838. His parents were natives of Norway, from where they had come just previous to the birth of Ole. After a time they removed to Dane Co., Wis., where the father died. In 1871 Ole and his mother came to Worth county and settled on section 19, in Danville township, where they still live. Mr. Thorson is the second of three children. He was married in 1880 to Mrs. Andrea Anderson, born in Norway in 1850. They have one child - Sarah. Mrs. Thorson, by her first marriage, had three children. Mr. Thorson's farm consists of eighty acres.
