Dr. J. C. Michener was the next follower of Esculapins who appeared upon the scene of action in Worth county. He came to Northwood duing the summer of 1871, and at once drew a large patronage. He was largely interested in a store building and shortly after his removal, in the fall or 1872, the structure was burned to the ground.
