Frank Lang resides on section 30, Danville township. He came to the county in 1869, He was born in Germany, May 29, 1843. In 1855 he, with a brother and sister, emigrated to America. They went first to Allegany Co., N. Y. He then went to Cattaraugus county. In 1868 he moved to Allamakee Co., Iowa where he followed farming one year. He then purchased his present farm, which contains 460 acres. He was married in 1865, to Julia Covell, a native of New York. The have two children - Eddie and Katie. He is a republican and has held local offices M. and Chester A. Mr. Trebilcock is a republican, and has served his fellow citizens in various local offices. He and his family are members of the Evangelical Association.
