John Kuchar owns 120 acres of land on section 22. He was born in Bohemia in 1848. He came to the United States in 1866 and settled in Winneskick Co., Iowa. He was married in 1873 to Barbara Kral, a native of Bohemia, born in 1856. They have four children - Mary, James, John and Anna. The family are members of the Catholic Church. Mr. Kuchar settled on section 22 of Danville township in 1879
