Elling Ellingson, farmer, is a native of Minnesota, born Dec. 9, 1855, where he grew to manhood. In 1875 he came to Worth county, settling on section 6, Lin­coln township. He was married in De­cember, 1879, to Matilda Thompson. She was born in Norway, Sept. 21, 1861. They have had two children-Edward, born June 3, 1881 ; Oliver, born Oct. 31, 1882. Mr. and Mrs. Ellingson are mem­bers of the Norwegian Lutheran Church.
