Erick O. Brunsvold was born in Norway, Oct. 9, 1833, where he was married to Maggie Norhagen. In 1868, they went to Hanson Co. Minn., remaining until 1871, when they came to Fertile and settled on section 12, where he has a farm containing 160 acres. They have 10 children - Ole, Betsy, Nels, Albert, Julia, Mary, Alma, George, Edward and Theodore. The family are members of the Lutheran Church.
