Ole Benson is a Norwegian by birth. He was born in 1850, and in 1867 emigrated to Clayton Co., Iowa, In 1878 he came to Danville township and settled on section 18, where he owns a farm containing 120 acres. Mr. Benson was married in 1879 to Guri Anderson, born in Norway in 1860. They have two children - Clara and Sophia. The family are members of the Lutheran Church
