Submitter: Carl T. Musselman REID, Family

The ancestors that I am researching in Page and Fremont counties are a family of Reids and Babcocks from Morton Township. The Henry Reid clan (Brothers William and John C. and sister Mary Ann Edwards) came to Page county from Muscatine county around 1873 and 1880. Most of the next generation moved to Plymouth county, Sioux City, and to Dixon county, NE.
I have frequented the facilities in the Shenandoah library, Clarinda Library, Court House and the Museum in Clarinda, and have found a wealth of information since January this year. I have tracked about 5 different Reid and Reed families from the area. And connected three of them Henry's, John C's, and William's. Also the William J. Edwards clan, Mary Ann Reid's husband.
If you are interested I have a home page with Family Tree Maker.com

Submitter: Lynn L. Campbell REUITTER, Garfiled A.

I have been on the Web and found your very attractive and useful site for Page Co, Iowa.
I have been interested in Garfield A. Reutter a "missing" brother of my grandfather. The only information I have picked up on him is that his birth probably was Jan. 1884 and he died (possibly in 1952) and is buried in Blanchard, Iowa. I note that you have a hard copy of the Blanchard Cemetery (which I assume is the main/only cemetery in Blanchard). Can you tell me if he and any of his family are in this cemetery?
I noted that Pat O'Dell is also interested in this county and I will also contact her
. Thank you very much for any assistance you can give me.
