letter it will come a lot faster the this V mail does. Have already
wrote Fern letter to-day I heard from two of the boys I took my training
with they are in Germany. they have moved me agin I am in Northern
Italy. how are the Kids getting along O.K. are they all well. you
remember Harold Brown don't you. well he was to go to the Army but
they defered him agan for 6 mos I guess I am the only man how do you
like the work news sound pretty good dont it. anyway it over here
in Italy and that where I am. well better close because I want to

branded Gasoline & Bar along Hwy. 71 in Burlington Juntion, Mo.
Nita's father Nels owned the "Hiley's Liquor & Tobacco" which was
just next door. The WILSONS lived in adjoining rooms of the Gas
Station and Bar.

Mrs. Robert A. (Wanita) Wilson, a69y of Burlington Junction, Mo,
died Saturday, Nov. 18, 1989, at the Fairfax, Mo, Community
hospital where she had been a patient for the past three weeks
She was born Oct. 02, 1920, at Maryville, Mo, the daughter of
John N. & Mabel (Anderson) Hiley. On June 10,1938, she was
married to Robert A. Wilson, Sr, who survies.
Mrs. Wilson had operated the "Hiley Tobacco Store" before her
retirement. She was a 40-year member of the American Legion
Auxiliary and belonged to the bowling league as long as health permitted.
Besides her husband, Robert, of the home, she is survived by four
children:
Robert Wilson, Jr, of Clarinda;
Mrs. Karl (Terri) Kenagy, of College Springs;
Kip Wilson, of Rochester, NY; and
Mrs. Gary (Tammy) Mather, of Burlington Junction, Mo.
There are seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Nov.21, at
Barr-Merrick Funeral Chapel in Burlington Junction.
Memorials may be directed to the arthritis fund.
Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, at Maryville, Mo.

Robert A. Wilson, Sr., 74, Burlington Junction, MO.
died Monday evening, at Kansas City Veterans Hospital.
He was born August 14, 1921, in Coin, to Ermal and Vera Duncan Wilson.
Mr. Wilson lived in the Burlington Junction area most of his
life where he was self-employed in sales and service.
He was married to Wanita Mae Hiley, June 10, 1938, at Troy Kansas
as she preceded him in death in 1989.
He served With the U.S. Army during world War II and was a member
of the Rolla Dicks American Legion Post 315 at Burlington
Junction where he was a past commander. He participated in League
Bowling and sponsored a bowling team for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Wanita and sister,
Lucille (Wilson) Sarrett.
He is survived by two sons,
Robert A. Wilson, Jr., of Clarinda, [Page Co., IA.] and
Kip Wilson, Liberty, [Clay Co.] MO;
two daughters,
Terri Kenagy, of College Springs, [Page Co., IA.] and
Tammy Mather, of Burlington Junction;
and seven grandchildren,
two great grandrhildren, two sisters, Elsie Annan and Fern
Miller, both of Clarinda, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Wednesday morning, July 24, at 10:30 a.m.,
at the Barr-Merrick Funeral Chapel, Burlington Junction. Burial was in
Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, MO. Arrangements are being handled by
Barr-Merrick Funeral Chapel.

Terri Lynne Kenagy, age 52yrs, of College Springs, IA,
died Wednesday afternoon, December 11, 1996 at Clarkson
Hospital in Omaha where she had been a patient since
Thanksgiving Day.
She was born July 27, 1944, at Maryville, MO, the daughter of
Robert and Waunita (Hiley) Wilson, Sr. On August 10, 1963,
she married Karl Kenagy, who survives.
Mrs. Kenagy was an L.PN. She had worked at Community Care Center
and more recently, with Nurses on Call Home Health Service.
She is survived by her husband, Karl, age 57yrs of College Springs,
and three children,
Duane Kenagy, age 33yrs and wife, Brenda, of Clairinda,
Eleia Kenagy, age 28yrs of College springs,
Kevin Kenagy, age 24yrs of College springs.
Brothers and sister are
Robert Wilson, Jr., age 58yrs of Clarinda,
Kip Wilson, age 50yrs of Kansas City, MO,, and
Tammy (Wilson) Mather, age 49yrs of Burlington Jct. MO.
Also surviving is her mother-in-law, Ethelyn Kenagy, Clarinda.
Memorial services were Saturday, Dec. 14, at the College
Springs Presbyterian Church, with Rev. John Duling officiating.
Walker-Merrick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to Amity Hall or the College Springs
Presbyterian Church.

They spent their first 2 years of marriage living in California before moving back to the Burlington Junction area where they are still living.
They are both enjoying their retirement. Gary is usually in his round top (shed) doing something. Tammy is usually enjoying their screened in porch.
Their children, Cathy Mather lives in Burlington Junction and
Corey and his wife Lorri Mather live in Maryville.
