Abraham & Louisa C. (Drace) WILSON RETURN TO COIN, IOWA:
Abraham and Louisa C. (Drace) WILSON remained in Paonia, Delta County Colo. for some 14 years until she experienced a decline in health about December of 1920 and nothing could be accomplished toward restoring her normal strength beyond fortifying her for the journey to the old homeplace in Page County, Iowa which she desired to make. So in February of 1921 Abraham & Louisa C. (Drace) WILSON departed for the town of Coin, Iowa, where the greater part of their lives had been spent, and her condition at the time of leaving admitted no hope of their return to Paonia, Colorado. Neighbors and others who in her 14 years of residence on "Lamborn Mesa", had learned to value her as a friend of rare good qualities unite in extending sympathy to the mourning family, whose sorrow they share.

Lousia C. (Drace) WILSON's funeral services were held in the Methodist Church of Coin, Iowa, on Monday, March 28, 1921 at 2:00 o'clock. The service was conducted by the pastor, the Rev. R. E. HARVEY, assisted by Dr. STORY of the United Presbyterian Church. The text of the sermon was Psalm 30:5 "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." The music was rendered by a quaret consisting of Mesdames: HINES and HENDERSON along with Messers. Arther and Ed HENDERSON, with Mrs. B. W. MILLER as pianist.
     Louisa CATHERINE (Drace) WILSON
By Rev. R. E. HARVEY, Methodist Church, Coin 1918-1921
"The passing of Mrs. Louisa WILSON from our midst, to those who have always known her, leaves a vacancy which cannot be filled. It is difficult for any minister who has never been personally acquainted with one to eulogize and to pay tribute which ought to be paid. I have known Mrs. Wilson since I knew anyone and knew her to be a good Christian woman in every way, a mother of whom anyone ought to be proud. As a student of the Bible she was not excelled by anyone in this community. She was my Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a good neighbor, an affectionate wife and mother. The bereaved husband and children have the sympathy of this entire community and have the assurance that in the sweet bye and bye she will always be remembered in our hearts."
