Aaron WILSON, was a sone of James WILSON, who lived in the Forks, PA. Was a Covenanter"; Later this family moved to Xena, Green Co., OH.
At some time Aaron WILSON, came to Lee Co., IA.
Aaron WILSON's family came to Page Co., IA. in 1854; Thomas WHITEHILL, Charles TONER and Lewis WILSON (s/o Aaron WILSON) came to Page County and chose their homesteads in the Spring of 1854. That summer they came and built cabins. In the fall the migration of Covenanter families from Lee Co., IA. came west by covered wagons.
Aaron & Samarimis WILSON were CHARTER MEMBERS of the Reformed Presbyterian Church organized December 1855. The homestead was 3 miles south of Clarinda on now highway 71, just north of the Olive Branch School. (Sec 15, Harlan Twp.) [Pg304]

David Porter ROBESON, believe came to Page Co., IA. with the WILSON, TONER, WHITEHILL families, migrated by covered wagon from Lee Co., IA. in 1854. The ROBESONS may have lived near the Aaron WILSON family south of Clarinda (now highway 71) on land bought in 1854. By Oct 1857, land bought by James WILSON (father of Aaron) was turned over to David P. ROBESON (he could have come from Lee Co., IA. at that time; By 1865 he had sold it to his Father-In-Law, Aaron WILSON and Thomas TONER - the farm was later bought by Samuel LITTLE, Son-In-Law of Aaron WILSON; This land was in Colfax Twp, Section 1, Northwest of College Springs and East of Coin; In 1880 Census the family was living in Lincoln Twp. Although they were not members of the Reformed Presbyterian church (Covenanter) they are buried on the WILSON's Lot. After the death of her husband Mrs. Sarah M. (WILSON) ROEBESON moved to Marshal Co., KS. to live with her children. [Page 222]

Samuel R. Wright, was in the Civil War., They came to Page Co., IA. from Hancock Co., IL. in 1871 by covered wagon. Samuel R. had purched land East of Coin in Dec 1866, but lived near Page Center for 2 years. Then had a dairy and built 2 houses on farm near Coin. [Page 128]

Samuel W. NELSON, had a "Meat Market" on the Northeast corner of town square. The NELSONS favored the United Presbyterian although Mrs. Ellen C. (Wilson) WALKER was a member of the Covenanter in youth. The 3 oldest children were baptized at the Covenanter Church. [Page 206]
