Son: Samuel W. KELLY, East River township;
Son: Robert C. KELLY, two and one-half miles southeast of Braddyville;

Twenty-three grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren survive Mrs. KELLY. She united with the Presbyterian church in early life and was a member of the church of that denomination in Clarinda from March 6, 1865.
Mrs. Mary Ann KELLY died Thursday, Jan. 3, 1918, at the home or her son, Samuel W. KELLY, in East River township, Page county, after an illness of a little more than nine weeks. Her funeral was held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 11 a. m. at the home where she died, conducted by Rev. David S. Curry, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Clarinda. The singers were Mrs. J. H. Stimson, Mrs. John Thomas, Mrs. Bert Roush, Ed. Calhoon and John Thomas. The pallbearers were Clark Davison, J. H Stimson, Roy L. Morgan, John Thomas, George Calhoon and Lewis Calhoon. Burial was in the Clarinda city cemetery, in the KELLY family lot. The late Mrs. KELLY's maiden name was Turner. She was the daughter of Hugh and Mary Turner and was born in Beaver county, Pa., Oct. 18, 1829, and died at the age of over 88 years. She was married in 1854 in Cedar county, O., to Beaty KELLY, and with her husband came to Page county, Iowa, in August, 1864. They located in Buchanan township, that fall, on a farm of forty acres which they purchased, and later bought eighty acres more of Buchanan township land. They resided on their Buchanan township land as long as Mr. KELLY lived. He died in 1902. Thereafter Mrs. KELLY lived on the same home farm three years more then made her home with her son, S. W. KELLY, in East River township, until her demise. Two sons born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Beaty KELLY preceeded her in death. They were John, who died in infancy, and George B. KELLY who died at Darlington, Mo., in September, 1916. The other children survive, as follows: Samuel W. KELLY, East River township; Robert C. KELLY, two and one-half miles southeast of Braddyville; Hugh S. KELLY, Almena, Norton county, Kan., and Ethan M. KELLY of Buchanan township, Page county. She also left a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Moore, of Muscatine, Iowa, whose critical illness has been reported to The Herald. Twenty-three grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren survive Mrs. KELLY. She united with the Presbyterian church in early life and was a member of the church of that denomination in Clarinda from March 6, 1865.

 Obituary: S.W. KELLEY,

 LAID TO REST LAST THURSDAY.
 Publication Date: Thursday, November 27, 1930, p. 2
 Samuel Wildeson KELLEY, son of Beatty and Mary Ann (Turner) KELLEY, was born at Wilton Junction, Cedar County, Iowa, April 11th, 1859, and departed this life, Nov. 21st, 1930, at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 10 days. He moved with his parents to Page County in 1863 where he grew to manhood. On October 20th, 1886 he was married to:
Miss Mary Frances HAY. To this union were born five children, all of whom, with the mother, survive him, except
 #2. 2nd Dau: Ina KELLEY, (dec'd 1898, age 10yrs) who preceded him in death.
Those children surviving him are:
     #1. 1st Dau: Mrs. Zora (Kelley) DUNCAN 43yrs, of Clarinda,

two granddaughters, Evelyn and Frances DUNCAN, whom he loved;
one brother, Ethan M. KELLEY, of Shambaugh;
nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
 Mr. S.W. KELLEY, was kind and always ready to help any one in need, and especially did he love little children, never meeting one without a word to them. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, from the Presbyterian Church, of which he was an honored member, conducted by his pastor, Dr. A. B. Thutt, interment being in Clarinda Cemetery. The abundance of beautiful flowers at the funeral attested the high esteem in which he was held, as did the large concourse of people present. Those present from a distance were:
 Mr. and Mrs. J. W. TRULLINGER, of Central City, Neb.;
 Miss Etta KELLEY, from Dennison;
 Mr. and Mrs. Orrin SLOCUM, of Darlington, Mo.
