Born 11 April 1828, in Washington County, Kentucky. 
Died 13 April 1900, near Coin, two days after his 72nd. birthday. of "Cancer on Neck"
He is buried in the Elmwood Cemetery (See: Section III, Row 4, Lot 8), 
South of Coin, Iowa in Section 6 of Colfax Township, Page County, Iowa.  
At age 21y married on Christmas day of 25 Dec 1849, in Washington Co., KY to 
25 year old Miss SUSAN LINTON; 
(d/o M/M LINTON Parents)
Born 11 Oct. 1829, Washington County, Kentucky; 
Died some 11 months after her husband on 18 Mar. 1901, 
at the age of 71 years, 5 Months and 7 days, near Coin, IA. 
She is buried along side her husband after 51 years of marriage in 
the "Elmwood" Cemetery (See: Section III, Row 4, Lot 8), South of Coin, Iowa 
in Section 6 of Colfax Township, Page Co., IA.
They had eight children born to this union:

The date when they relocated to Page Co., Iowa is Unknown, but believed 
before 1856, although to date this writer can NOT find them listed 
in any? of Page Counnty, Iowa Census.


The Original HAYNER Home-Stead consisted of 164.35 acres. 80 acres 
on the W 1/2, SW 1/4 of Section 33, Lincoln Twp. adjoining that on 
the West was 20 acres on the E 1/2, NE,SE 1/4 of Section 32, the 
"Home-Place" was located adjoining on the NE 1/4, NE 1/4 of Section 
32, and their was 24.35 acres adjoining south of the "Home-Place" 
on NE  1/4, NE 1/4 of Section 5, in Colfax Township.
