G. H. Ballard home circa 1910
The house originally
stood at 524 So. Hanson Blvd. & was moved to its present location (504
W 6th) sometime before this picture was taken. It was known as the G. H.
Ballard home. E. P. Potteiger bought it, added 3 rooms, and ran his
jewelry business there in the 1920's. The next owner was Anna Carlson
who sold it to my parents, Dennis and Eleanor Peterson in 1952. - Mike

Amelia Schlesinger Fertig and her home in Odebolt. My
guess is this was taken between 1920 and 1925. Her husband, Andrew
Fertig (retired farmer, father of locals William and John Fertig) died
in Odebolt in 1907. - submitted by Allen Hoaglund, Ohio |
