Johann Konradi was born at Oberhoctstadt, Germany, on April 21, 1826. He married Elizabeth Beitz in Germany & had the following children: Joseph (married 1st Catherine Simons, 2nd Elizabeth Auchstetter), Elizabeth (Mrs. Vincent Huibsch), Henry (married 1st Mary Lookenheimer, 2nd Sophia Willard), and Johann.
After his wife's death in 1861, he married Anna Maria Schmidt & in 1868, on the S.S.Deutschland, they emigrated to the United States, where his oldest sons were already living. They settled near Sublette, Illinois, later moving in 1875 to a farm they had purchased north of Odebolt, buying three hundred and twenty acres of prairie land in section 10, Richland township for fifteen dollars an acre. They had the following children: Georg, Melanie Anna (Mrs. Julius Bieschke), Susanna (Mrs. Jacob Fleuhr), Mary, Katherine (Mrs. Martin Henrich), Elizabeth (Mrs. Jacob Reis), Johann Jr., and Jacob (married Margaret Schomer). Johann Konradi died in July 1916 in rural Odebolt, and "Mary" Schmidt Konradi died six weeks later.

Joseph Konradi was born September, 1852, at Frankfort-on-Main, Germany, the son of Johann and Elizabeth (Beitz) Konradi. Joseph came to America from his native land in 1868 with his grandfather, Peter Beitz, who paid his passage to this country. In 1883 Joseph Konradi began farming for himself on eighty acres which his father gave him & later purchased for himself another eighty acres. He had a fine orchard, plenty of shade trees, a good home, erected all the buildings and set out all the trees. His first wife was Catherine Simons, & they had a daughter, Clara (Mrs. Leroy Johnson). His second wife was Elizabeth Auchstetter, & their children were: John F. (married Lena Wenzel), Katherine (Mrs. John Henrich), Elizabeth (Mrs. Irvin Raasch), Minnie (Mrs. Charles Messer), Joseph P. (married Edna Messer), Anton (married Caroline Hassing), Margaret (Mrs. Ernest Moore), Bernard (married Marian Furrow), Jacob (married Winnie Wimberly), Emily (Mrs. Perry Hannel), & Romaine (married Marjorie Schau). Joseph died 25 January 1938 and Elizabeth died 4 January 1927.
