Sirs:
   I have forgotten whether I have made a return of the marriage of Israel Scroggy & Martha Bragg. You will please examine it if the return has been made all is right and if not you will please record the following: I do hereby certify that Israel Scroggy & Martha Bragg were lawfully joined together in marriage on the 24th day of Jan 1849 by me. This 31st day of May A.D. 1849.
