BRALEY, A. H.; Farmer; Sec. 30; P. O. Kellogg; born in Northfield, Vt., May 4, 1846; came to this county in 1866, and owns ninety acres of land, valued at $20 per acre.  Is a Republican in politics.  His wife, D. A. JACKSON, was born in Kenton, Ohio, Sept. 29, 1848; they were married in 1872; have one child�Ernest E., born April 14, 1876.  Mr. BRALEY enlisted in the 9th Regt. Vermont V. I. Aug. 15, 1864, and served to the close of the war; was in the battles of Chapin Farm and Fair Oaks, and also before Richmond, and went into it April 3, 1865.  He has his farm under a high state of cultivation, and is a smart, industrious man.

Y., Dec. 30, 1812; came to this county in 1856; owns seventy-five acres of land, valued at $40 per acre.  Married Fanny BROWN Dec. 31, 1831; had three children�Charles W., born in 1833; Mary Louisa, born Sept. 3, 1835; she married Mr. Owen ELLIS; Francis L., born Aug. 7, 1837; she married Mr. Samuel CHAPMAN.  Emeline ALLEN, his second wife, was born in Madison Co., N. Y., Dec. 15, 1812; married March, 1842; had three children�Emma A., born Nov. 3, 1850; she married Mr. George UTLEY; Marian A., Sept. 16, 1853; married William C. WILLIAMS; John C. F.; born Oct. 29, 1857.  Mr. COOK has a fine home, and a farm under high state of cultivation.

Kellogg; born in Owen Co., Ind., Sept. 19, 1832; cam to this county in 1845.  Owns ninety acres of land, valued at $25 per acre.  Roxana LACKEY, his wife, born in Kentucky, Feb. 14, 1832.  Married May 27, 1857.  Children�s names are James M., born Aug. 21, 1858; Nancy E., born Jan. 20, 1860; Joseph A., born May 25, �64; Sallie A., born May 17, 1867; Elizabeth, born Oct. 31, 1870; Amanda E., born Oct. 12, 1872.

COWEL, Norman; Farmer; Sec. 18; P. O. Kellogg; born in Oneida Co., New York State, Feb. 10, 1831; cam to this county March, 1875.  His wife, Martha Jane, was born Aug. 24, 1833.  They were married Dec. 11, 1853; their children are William A., born Oct. 12, 1854; George E., born June 19, 1857; Sarah L, born Sept. 28, 1860; Mary M., born March 1, 1863; Francis M., born Dec. 11, 1865; John S., born Feb. 7, 1871; Walter I., born Oct. 15, 1873.  William A. COWEL rents 160 acres of land here, and has it under a fine state of cultivation.

Grinnell; born Aug. 31, 1840, in Morgan Co., Illinois; came to this county in 1848.  Owns 263 acres of land, valued at $30 per acre.  Democrat in politics.  His wife, Milly ANTLE, born in the same county.  They married Jan., 1865; their children are Mary E., born Dec. 31, 1866; William P., born Feb. 15, 1868.  Mr. COX�s farm in under a high state of cultivation.

Grinnell; was born Aug. 6,1832, in Lincolnshire, England, and came to this country in 1850, and to this county in 1870; owns 180 acres of land, valued at $30 per acre.  His wife, Rose Ann was born Oct. 31, 1834; married March 31, 1855; children�Martha Ann, born April 4, 1856; John Henry, born Dec. 11, 1857; Charles A. and William W. (twins), born Aug. 31, 1861; Rose H., born Oct. 31, 1864; Elizabeth L., born Feb. 15, 1867; Philip E., born May 25, 1869; James Alfred, born May 11, 1871.  Mr. HOTCHKIN is a good, industrious farmer and well educated.

Grinnell; born in Ireland Oct. 1, 1835; came to this country in 1852, and located in this county in 1863; owns 180 acres of land, valued at $20 per acre.  His wife, Margaret MARCOOT, was born in Clintonville, Clinton Co., N. Y., Jan., 1846.  Mr. KEENAN is a very industrious and enterprising man, and has traveled over considerable of this country.
