     Middleton Warnick was born on 15 October 1845 at New York.1,4,3 He was the son of George Warnick and Eliza Charlotte Keyes.1,2,3

Middleton Warnick appeared as Middleton, age 4 with his probable parents on the 1850 Federal census of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, enumerated 24 July 1850, household of George Warnick.5

Middleton Warnick appeared as Middleton, age 9, in county 9 years on the 1855 New York State census of Montgomery County, New York, enumerated 1 June 1855 as the child of George Warnick.2

Middleton Warnick appeared as Middleton, age 14, born Amsterdam with his probable parents on the 1860 Federal census of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, enumerated June 1860 in the household of George Warnick.6

Middleton Warnick appeared as Middleton, age 19 on the 1865 New York State census of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, enumerated June 1865 as the child of George Warnick.7

Middleton Warnick married Marion Kellogg, daughter of Lauren Kellogg and Elizabeth Miller, on 13 October 1869 at Fulton County, New York, both of Amsterdam.1,8,3

Middleton Warnick appeared as Middleton Warnick, age 24, drug store, $0/$4000 on the 1870 Federal census of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, in the household of his probable mother-in-law Elizabeth Kellogg enumerated 29 June 1870.9

Middleton Warnick named in Marion's will written on 8 November 1877 as "sister Elizabeth Kellogg, niece Marion wife of Middleton Warnick, nephew Spencer Kellogg" ; codicil dated 9 Jun 1879, recorded 6 Oct 1879.10

Middleton Warnick appeared as "Midlton Warnich" age 34, Drug Merchant on the 1880 Federal census of Church St, Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, enumerated 11 June 1880 as the head of household.11

Middleton Warnick listed in the 1884 City Directory of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, at 37 Church Street, next door to Lauren Kellogg and between Grove and High streets. Just up from there is Green Hill Cemetery. Listed in Greene Knitting Co; 63 to 85 Market street. J E Voorhees, Middleton Warnick, J K Warnick, Mrs W K Greene, Mts Howard Furman, Mrs H E Greene.12,13,14

Middleton Warnick listed in the 1886 City Directory of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, Middleton Warnick (Greene Knitting Co.), h 37 Church.15 He Water Commissioner in 1892 at Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York.

Middleton Warnick appeared on the 1900 Federal census of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, enumerated 1 June 1900 as the head of household; Middleton Warnick, b Oct 1845, age 54, md 31 years, knit goods manufacturer.16

Middleton Warnick named in his wife Marion's will written on 23 April 1902 at Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, as "husband Middleton Warnick, "In the event of the re-marriage of my said husband Middleton Warnick he shall immediately cease to be one of my executors or testators""; proven 16 Oct 1903.17 Middleton Warnick "He is a manufacturer of knit goods; res. in Amsterdam, N.Y." in 1903.1

Middleton Warnick listed in obituary of Marion Kellogg as spouse of Marion Kellogg whose obituary appeared on 10 October 1903 ; Mr and Mrs Warnick left only a few days ago to spend a fortnight with Mrs Warnick's brother, Spencer Kellogg, of Buffalo, at his summer home on Lake Erie ... Mr Warnick and Mr Kellogg were at the time out sailing on the lake.18 Middleton Warnick died on 6 December 1904 at 223 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, at age 59 (Mary Boucher info states 9 Dec but that is likely a burial date).4,19,3

Middleton Warnick's obituary appeared on 6 December 1904 reporting that he "died suddenly this morning ... while engaged in sweeping snow from the veranda."3
