     Spencer Kellogg Warnick Jr was born on 23 May 1899 at Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York.2 He was the son of Spencer Kellogg Warnick and Jane Maria Green.

Spencer Kellogg Warnick Jr appeared as Spencer Warnick Jr, age 1 on the 1900 Federal census of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, enumerated 13 June 1900 as grandson in the household of Helen Greene.3

Spencer Kellogg Warnick Jr listed in obituary of Marion Kellogg as grandchild of Marion Kellogg whose obituary appeared on 10 October 1903: also three grandchildren, Spencer and Henry Warnick, sons of Spencer K Warnick and Marion Warnick Hall, her namesake; Mr and Mrs Warnick left only a few days ago to spend a fortnight with Mrs Warnick's brother, Spencer Kellogg, of Buffalo, at his summer home on Lake Erie ... Mr Warnick and Mr Kellogg were at the time out sailing on the lake.4
