Eliza was the second daughter and fourth child of twelve of John Waymouth (Timber John) and Eliza (nee Glanville).  Eliza was born at 5.55 am on 7 May 1826 and was baptised at St Marys Church, Pembroke on 9 July 1826.

Eliza married her first cousin, William John Waymouth (see) at Bethnal Green, London on 23 December 1857.   They had one child, Eliza Catherine (known as Katie) Waymouth born at Mile End on 29 January 1858.   Sadly, Katie died at Islington, aged 12 years, on 7 July 1870.
