BALL, Aaron b. 1745 d. 1835
Enlisted 1776 as a private in Capt. William Britton's Co., Morris Co., NJ militia (S-499). He was born in Connecticut Farms; married Patty Wade; died in Elizabeth, NJ. Pension: S2369 DAR 106657, 102703.

BALL , Caleb b. c. 1728 d. 11-15-1782
Served as a private in Morris Co., NJ militia (S-499). He married Lois Gordon in 1780 and lived in Hanover, NJ.

BALL, David b. 1720 d. 4-19-1789
Served as a private in Morris Co., NJ militia (S-499). Married Joanna Watkins, DAR.

BALL, Ephraim
Served as a private in Capt. Isaac Halsey's militia, Parsippany (S-499) He married Mary Hedden, Jan. 9, 1775 and lived in Hanover Township.

BALL, Jacob b. 2-24- 1749 d. 11-29-1809
Served as a private in Capt. Isaac Halsey's militia, Parsippany in 1776; in Capt. David Bates Co. of Minute Men; Col. Sylvanus Seeley's Battalion, Morris Co., NJ militia (S-499). He lived in Hanover, NJ; married Mary Vergason, and is buried in the First Presbyterian Church burying ground, Morristown, NJ DAR 73043.

BALL, John b. 2-14-1746 d. 2-10-1838
Served as an ensign in Capt. Isaac Halsey's Co., Parsippany 1776; other short tours under different commands (S-449). In 1832 he was placed on the pension roll for service as ensign, NJ. Line. He was born in South Orange, NJ; m. 1) Phebe Crane 2) Martha Howell Fairchild; lived in Hanover Township. Pension: S850 DAR 97574; 42135.

BALL, Samuel b. 7-1734 d. 1-12-1810
Was commissioned captain 1775 in Col. William Winds' Regiment of Morris Co., NJ Minute Men (S-499) (Munsell: 32) He married Sarah Plume and lived in Hanover Township. DAR Pension: S44321? Buried at First Presbyterian Church, Hanover.
(Note that other records have shown the wife of Samuel Ball to be Deborah Farrand who first married Robert Plume. DAR applic. for Samuel Ball shows the name to be Sarah Deborah Farrand.)

BALL, William d. 1841, age 81
Served as a private in Morris Co., NJ militia, also a foragemaster (S-499; 843); He lived in Hanover Township; was on the Pension Roll of 1840. Pension: Wm., NJ-NY S2354.
