Their daughter, Elizabeth Hunt Gunter (b.1780), married William Schrimsher (b.1776), and moved from North Carolina to northeastern Alabama about 1814. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri, Minnesota, Oklahoma and elsewhere. Includes a brief history of the Cherokee Indians and the Methodist Church in Alabama. Includes Anderson, Danks, Eddins, Rogers, Todd, Webster and related families.

The Todd family in Indiana. By Grover C. Todd, 1971. Family genealogies at the Jeffersonville Township Public Library, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Microfilm of typescript (photocopy, [29] leaves). Robert Todd (1697-1775) was born in County Armegh, Ireland, the son John Todd and the grandson of James Todd, Laird of Dunbar. He married twice and was the father of thirteen children. He and his second wife, Elizabeth, and his seven oldest children, immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1737. His grandson, George Todd (1779-ca. 1828), was born in Bedford County, Virginia, the son of William Todd (1730-ca. 1790). He married Elizabeth Seip, daughter of Henry Seip, a Revolutionary War soldier, in 1795. They had seven children, 1800-1814. The family migrated to Indiana in 1814, but stayed a year in Kentucky where the youngest son was born. Elizabeth died in 1815 and he married 2) Sally Brooke. They had four children, 1816-1827. Descendants listed lived in Indiana, Missouri, Montana, and elsewhere.

She was born in 1947 at Connersville, Fayette County, Indiana, the daughter of George Curtis and Mildred Edith Cain Enochs. She married David Louis Norris in 1968 at Bedford, Indiana. He was born in 1944 at Loogootee, Martin County, Indiana, the son of Delbert Simpson and Mae Frances Holland Norris. They have four children, born 1969-1980 at Bloomington, Indiana. George Curtis Enochs was born in 1920 at Mitchell, Lawrence County, Indiana, the son of Thomas Simpson Enochs (1876-1955) and Cassie May Todd Enochs (1885-1945). He married Mildred Edith Cain in 1941 at Battle Creek, Michigan. They had eight children, 1945-1956, born at Bedford and Connersville, Indiana, and Alhambra, California. Mildred Edith Cain was born in 1923 at Bedford, Indiana, the daughter of Eathel Deamus Cain (1901-1986) and Grace Irene Grow Cain (1903-1974). Ancestors include: William P. Enochs (1815-1852) of Kentucky and Washington County, Indiana; John Cain (1806-1886) of Avoca, Indiana; John Crozier (1665-1737) of Burlington, New Jersey; George Chastain of Henry County, Kentucky; David Todd (1791-1852) of Lawrence County, Indiana; Samuel Willoby (d. 1854) of Indiana and Missouri; William Grow (m. 1847) of Daviess County, Indiana; and John David Hinkle (1844-1924) of Daviess County, Indiana. General Robert Lewis and Colonel John Lewis were sons of Samuel and came to America in 1635." A later descendant of Samuel, Nathan Lewis (b. ca. 1724) immigrated from Wales to Sullivan County, North Carolina. Some descendants moved to the midwest. Johann Jacob Sutz immigrated to America in 1749 and settled first in Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Mary, had seven children, ca. 1755- after 1776. The family migrated to Guilford County, North Carolina, ca. 1757. He died there in 1800. Adam Suits (1788-1891) probably the grandson of Jacob Sutz, was born in Guilford County. He and his wife, Elizabeth Pritchett, had eight children, 1814-1835. Elizabeth died in 1857. He migrated to Indiana in 1869 with four of his children. Descendants listed, especially descendants of his grandson, Nathan Suits (1859-1924), lived in Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and elsewhere. Includes ancestral families of Albert Lee Suits (1881-1961), son of Nathan Suits, and Albert's wife, Nancy Esther Ames Suits (1885- 1952). Ancestors include: Thomas Barnard (1612-1667) of England and Amesbury, Massachusetts -- Robert Eames/Ames (ca. 1640-1693) of England and Boxford, Massachusetts -- Joseph Todd (ca. 1645-1699) of England and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
