Charles Fletcher Lovette married Sarah Carrie Denby on December 1, 1889 in Worth County Georgia. Charles Fletcher Lovette was born March 7, 1859 in Wilcox County. Sarah Carrie Denby was born August 10, 1871 in Wilcox County. I have no death dates. Their daughter, Carrie Louise Lovette was my grandmother. There were other children -- I do not have the names.

J. J. (James Jesse) Bullard married M. A. Watson in Worth Co, GA on 12/15/1901. Marriage record 510-3W-WOR. M. A. Watson was J. J. Bullard's 2nd wife. His first wife Josephine Dailey Bullard died at their home in Ty Ty 7/30/1900.

From: Judy Bishop Thu, 03 Feb 2000 13:25:49 -0600 My ggrandfather, John T. Pierce, of the 14th Regiment, Company G, Georgia Volunteer Infantry, "Yancey's Independents" - Worth County, is named on page 2 of the roster. We have copies of his Civil War pay vouchers in his record's. I wonder if we could post his marriage on this page. He was married in Worth County on 11 Jan 1866 to Ailcy Harriett Mathews. This is recorded on the FamilySearch International Genealogical Index.He and Ailcy, who we believe was formerly of Randolph Co., Ga., settled in Escambia Co., Florida, and had a large family. We believe Ailcy was married previously to a Civil War soldier who was killed early in the war, and we know that she had a son from that marriage who died after her marriage to John T. Pierce. It's possible that Ailcy's first marriage was to someone named 'Mathews' as we have no record of her maiden name. I am hoping that by posting her re-marriage to my ggrandfather, we will have some input about her or her family.
